Last year’s Startup Weekend Kuwait was a huge success with 10 MVPs completed in 54 hours. This year, we are ready to kick off the 3-day event that aims to help in the emergence and growth of empowered entrepreneurs in the region. Entrepreneurs, coders, designers, and startup enthusiast will get first-hand experience from exchanging knowledge and expertise with like-minded entrepreneurs to building an active startup.
Who should attend?
Startup Weekend attendees can have technical or non-technical backgrounds. You will be able to form teams on the event’s first day, right after pitches are made.
What kind of background do I need?
While it is your objective to build a web/mobile app over the weekend, you do NOT need a technical background to attend. You can form a team with someone who does. Similarly, you do NOT need to have an idea to attend. You can form a team with someone who does.
EVENT
The event is free of charge and open to everyone. It will be held on February 6-8, 2014 at the College of Engineering Building in Kuwait University – Khaldiya Campus.
